Time to some new discoveries!

Well I have been at work and have found some songs that are in heavy rotation. For some reason now there are so many rappers that are breaking boundaries and deciding to join forces and bring a new level to the game. By them combining their skills they put out hot records. Hopefully we can see more unity in hip hop like this

Overdose on Life - Drake, Mickey Factz, Travis McCoy (of Gym Class Heroes)

-Now this song right here is insane. Drake (Jimmy from Degrassi: The Next Gen.) is a rapper out of Toronto who is roughly new. Mickey Factz is out of NY, and Travie is well-known

-This can be heralded as the most random vibe you will ever have. Personally, I think this song has a real grab your girl and 2-step vibe to it.

Hmmmm... Repetitive dreams...

Well, lately things have gained some sense of order (although that is to be taken very, very loosely). Things have really been calming down the closer and closer I get to school. Anywho, I should get back to that title and elaborate on it a bit before I find myself lost in rambling. Lately, I have been having these 2 really crazy dreams. I'm not gonna go into details about said dreams but I will say this much, they made me think. They posed 2 very distinct trains of thought: That of selfless sacrifice and that of acceptance. It really is kinda of a dorky way of my seeing myself as some kinda hero (i'm BIG into comics). I mean, honestly, if someone has walked into your life, and you feel some sort of importance towards that person, anything that person asks of you should be nothing, right? You take what you have and never covet it or take it for granted, and then you'll see what I mean.

M.I.A. - Paper Planes

Well, this song has been around for more than a while, yet for some reason everyone is finally catching on to the bandwagon that is M.I.A. I really am into her style of abstractly painting a picture of the injustices of the world. Mix that with some catchy hooks and catchier beats and you have an unbeatable combo. Anywho, for my first post, I decided to take on this song. I just added some beat loops, breaks, and some phazers.
